This comprehensive schedule of 246 classes includes GCV Collections, ADS sanctioned classes and a Youth Division.


Show rules provide logistics and tips, and serve as a resource for novice and experienced judges and workroom volunteers.

Horticulture exhibitors may follow the signs to the unloading area in front of the John Marshall. The street in front of the John Marshall (one way) will be designated for a loading zone. Volunteers will be available to help unload and navigate the stairs. Carts will be available to help transport your supplies and materials into the workroom. Please refer to the map for your parking options.

Any award not picked up by 5:00 pm on March 28 will be returned to GCV headquarters, Kent-Valentine House and may be picked up there at a later date. Award cards will only be available for pick up from 5:00pm-5:30pm. Any remaining cards will be returned to GCV headquarters. Award cards and Awards will be available for pick up at the Kent Valentine House for two months after the show. A pick up time must be coordinated with Ann Heller at communications@gcvirginia.org

Wedging Material

The GCV is committed to preventing the spread of boxwood blight. We will not allow boxwood to be used as wedging material. Please do not bring boxwood to the Daffodil Day event. We will provide a limited amount of approved wedging material, however, the exhibitors are encouraged to bring their own wedging material.

  • Privet
  • Yew
  • Any green, bushy plant material other than boxwood
  • Celery
  • Cotton balls
  • Plastic wrap
